Frequently Asked Questions

Are You Available on my wedding date?

Please reach out to me via the contact form, and fill in your wedding date. I'll reply back with my availability.

How Far In Advance should we book?

Most couples book 9-15 months before their wedding, especially for spring and fall dates. If your wedding is coming up sooner, I’d still love to hear from you. If I’m available, I’ll do everything I can to make it work.

Will there be a second shooter?

Most weddings are beautifully covered by a single photographer. However, a second photographer is available for couples who would like additional coverage, more candid moments, simultaneous getting-ready coverage, or greater variety throughout the day.

ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH OUR PARTICULAR CULTURAL OR RELIGIOUS TRADITIONS?

I have been fortunate to have photographed many different types of weddings. I’ve documented Catholic, Jewish, Hindu, Chinese, Episcopalian, Orthodox Greek, non-denominational, and Persian ceremonies just to name a few. If you are having a wedding that is not listed here, I would absolutely love to learn all about the customs and events.

Do you help with creating the wedding day timeline?

Absolutely. Every wedding photography collection includes timeline planning to help ensure your day flows smoothly while allowing plenty of time for the moments that matter most.

Are you LGBTQ friendly?

Absolutely!! I believe everyone has a right to love and, in fact, these are some of my most favorite weddings to cover!

Are you able to photograph in dark environments?

Absolutely. Having experience in commercial and studio photography, we're very comfortable using flashes as much as natural light.

How many photos will I receive?

Every wedding is different, so the number of final images varies depending on the timeline, number of locations, events, and overall pace of the day. Rather than focusing on a specific number, my priority is delivering a thoughtfully curated gallery that tells the complete story of your wedding. Most couples receive approximately 50-100 edited images per hour of coverage.

How long does it take to receive my edited photos and film?

I know how excited you are to see your pictures so I work really hard to get them back to you as soon as possible. For an engagement session, you'll generally receive your gallery within 1-2 weeks. For a wedding, you'll receive your gallery within 3-4 weeks and the film within 1-2 months.

How do you keep my images safe?

As I take them. all of your photos are instantly duplicated onto a backup memory card, so insurance is created in case one memory card fails or breaks. As soon as I get home from your session or wedding, I start downloading all of the images to a hard drive, which is then copied over to a second backup hard drive. So at this point, your photos exist in FOUR places. Then, when I deliver your photos they are uploaded to an online gallery, where they will live for a minimum of one year.

How do I order prints or albums?

I have a relationship with a professional photo lab and can offer luxury quality prints and albums to my clients at reasonable rates. You can purchase prints directly through the online gallery once I have delivered your fully edited images. However if you prefer to print them elsewhere, my packages include printing rights so you can print anywhere.

Can I add hours to my wedding on the day of?

Yes! Additional coverage can usually be added before or even during your wedding day, schedule permitting.

What kind of gear do you use?

I use professional Canon cameras, premium lenses, and multiple backup systems to ensure your memories are captured safely and beautifully. Every wedding is photographed with redundant equipment, backup cameras, and multiple lenses so I’m prepared for whatever the day brings.
