From Bar and Bat Mitzvahs to brit milahs, upshernishes and weddings, I’ve photographed Jewish celebrations throughout Los Angeles for over a decade. I understand that every family and congregation has its own traditions, and I approach each event with a mix of beautiful portraits, candid storytelling and respect for the moments that matter.
BRIS/BRIT MILAH
A brit milah, also known as a bris, is the Jewish ceremony in which a baby boy is circumcised. View photos of some of these beautiful events I have photographed. We offer photography and videography for your little one's bris.
UPSHERNISH
An Upsherin (or Upshernish) is a special time when a 3 year old Jewish boy gets his very first haircut. It is commemorated by throwing a big party for family and friends who each get to participate in the cutting of the hair. We offer photography and videography for your little one's Upshernish.
BAR/BAT MITZVAH
From family and Torah portraits to the service, luncheon and celebration, I capture both the traditions and all the fun in between. Photography, videography and custom montage films are available.
